As I look at [your] photos , I am reminded
of how far you can see in Northern Arizona. The horizon and
the sky are your constant companions. It helps me remember how
huge our God is and at the same time how small we are.
It's easy, here in the
city, busy with everyday business to think I am in control of my
life. When I look at these images, I realize that the day to day
problems I often allow to fill my mind are petty in God's eternal
perspective. When I look at your horizons, I can relax and know
that I am safe in His care.
Thank you for sharing
your horizons and reminding me of one of my favorite verses,
Jeremiah 29:11:
"For I know the plans I
have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for
calamity to give you a future and a hope."
Best to you and your family,
Barbara Hornor
