Filling most of the image with a
rippled sand foreground bolsters the apparent size so it is not
overpowered by the rocky ridge punctuated with spires. The scene calls
to mind the traditional Navajo belief that harmony and balance are
essential ingredients of the environment and of life. This image is on display in
