This backbone of Shiprock was
photographed after a summer rainstorm, and the "pond" is
actually a puddle in the middle of the dirt road. I had to stand in the
water to take the picture. Rabbit brush is in the immediate foreground,
and rice grass is on the water's edge. Shiprock is in the distance. |
